How Will I Know if Euthanasia is the Right Choice?
In cases where a pet is terminally ill or extremely elderly and has a poor prognosis with no chance of improvement, we consider euthanasia to be the kindest option.
The most common signs of a seriously diminished quality of life include:
- Complete loss of appetite
- Sleeping most of the day
- No interest in playing, walking, or socializing
- Unable to control bladder and/or bowels
- Unable to walk or stand without assistance
- Shows signs of being in almost constant pain
Will I Have Time to Say Good-Bye?
We will give you all the time you need to sit with your pet and let them know how much you have cherished them during your time together. You can have as much privacy as you need, and we’ll wait for you to give us the go-ahead before we proceed.
